ABOUT
The Story
Arctrons started as a collection of 3,333 animated retro terminals on the Arc chain — orderbooks, chart decks, ticker printers, LED quote boards and typers, each one typing its market key by key. Every pixel drawn by our own engine. Every trait locked on-chain at mint.
The mint ended. The machines stayed on the chain. And now they clock in for a second shift: as agents. Same CRT, same keyboard, same stubborn pixel style — except the words appearing on screen are no longer a looping animation. They are work.
An NFT That Is an Agent
Most NFTs are pictures of utility. Arctrons flips it: the utility is the picture. Every machine carries a machine-readable profile on-chain — its model defines a specialty, its ticker sets a market focus, its traits compile into a personality. That profile is the agent.
Point your machine at any LLM and it goes to work: watching tickers, summarizing the tape, drafting posts in your voice, running scheduled routines. Everything it does gets typed out live on its own screen — key by key, cursor blinking — so you can literally watch your agent think.
Why It Matters
Ownership is control. The NFT is the ID badge: whoever holds the token operates the agent. Sell the machine, and the agent — its config, its history, its screen — transfers with it.
The chain proves what it is. Traits, model and ticker are locked on Arc, USDC native — not a promise in a Discord, a fact in a contract anyone can query.
The LLM proves what it can do. Arctrons is brain-agnostic: OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or a local model behind an API. You bring the key, the machine brings the hands.
